There are times when you travel to distant locations, or look at pictures of some unfamiliar area, a fantasies can emerge in the minds eye of a different time and place. A time when things were simpler, a time of romance and chivalry. A time of Knights and Princesses, Lords and Ladies. A time to fantasize of living ages ago, as a member of the royal court, my Contessa is a reflection of my hopes and dreams, a fantasy that could have been and still can be.
About Yelena Rubin
Painting is my passion. I am specializes in realistic and imaginary portraits, figurative and nature paintings, including detailed pencil/ color portraits. Style and nature of my art mostly paints in oils and acrylics and digital design using a wide array of colors. I have a renewed passion for art in my life. When I was a young girl, I loved sketching, sculpting and painting. A stunning beauty from the past that reminds me of the "Lady of the Lake" from Arthurian legend. I know, she is French, but the way she is wading in the river makes me think of the Arthur legends. You are in a continuing period of creating total wonders. And I continue to love your art.
